It takes a skill-based approach to assessment, allowing companies to automatically generate standardized tests based on various skills and then accurately measure the developer’s performance on those skills.

We proudly serve 500+ customers across the globe with many of the fortune 1000 names in the list like Walmart, Amazon, Barclays, GE, Siemens etc. We have assessed more than 1M candidates, support 37 different programming languages, provide 8 different types of assessment techniques and enable assessments across 100+ different skills.

HackerEarth also has a community version of the product that is used by developers all across the globe, to assess their coding skills, become better at it and measure their true potential. They do it by solving coding challenges across different topics/skills and by participating in online competitions/hackathons. We have a thriving community of 4M developers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Define programs and activities that help us scale up our user acquisition and grow our HackerEarth community of developers around the globe
  • Define and execute a plan of action to continuously engage our developer community and improve user retention
  • Identify and build strategic partnerships with organizations around the globe to help grow the community and enhance its reach and reputation
  • Reach out to non-profits and help them host social hackathons on HackerEarth where the solutions are aimed at solving real-world problems
  • Create unique hackathon campaigns and find relevant partners for them to scale up the user engagement on the platform
  • Keep track of competition, stay updated with the current developer pulse and work with the product team to recommend strategic feature additions to the product in order to increase product adoption
  • Lead a team of strong, motivated community managers and developer evangelists, set their quarterly goals and tune them to give their best performance
  • Build solid relationships with universities around the globe in order to increase participation
  • Sync with the programs team internally to help them drive registrations for client-driven hackathons and hiring challenges through paid campaigns as well as originally through community and university outreach. 
  • Ensure all community content and landing pages are following the best SEO practices
  • Own the social media landscape for community engagement (primarily through Twitter and Facebook)

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  1. 4+ years if experience in Developer Marketing, growth marketing, or user acquisition for a B2C App company
  2. A genuine love for data. You have the ability to analyse current growth, identify and project additional growth opportunities and the various means in which you can achieve them
  3. Knowledge of digital marketing and social media. Experience in running paid campaigns to drive acquisition and a good understanding of PPC, SEO, and SEM techniques
  4. Team management experience is good to have
  5. The ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive, data-driven marketing plans
  6. Self-motivated and results driven; passionate to learn and grow
  7. Qualifications: Tech background (BE, B.Tech) preferred, MBA would be a bonus
