Studio HexCode - HackerEarth is looking for an experienced, fresh thinking designer to contribute to our product ecosystem and enhance it. We're looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into great user experience and rich visuals.

 Roles and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with and support a UX designer, a product manager, a small group of engineers, and some testers throughout the product development process.
  • The ability to take hi-fidelity wireframes and execute final, "pixel perfect" UI designs and package, spec, and prep for engineering to help speed up our process.
  • Produce at an exceptional velocity: ability and willingness to quickly produce accurate designs.
  • Hold accountability for the visible portions of an experience: polishing the interfaces to help move people through their day-to-day tasks.
  • You will be responsible for adding animations and interaction patterns to components.
  • Develop the interactive component library and patterns that is part of the evolving design system for the product suite.
  • Prioritize and manage your own workload and meet critical deadlines.

You must have

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects and communicate progress and expected milestones.
  • Ability to create nice visual designs to delight the users.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Experience in designing responsive web pages that span multiple devices
  • Strong typography skills
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience

It’s good to have

  • Familiarity with the agile development process
  • HTML and CSS knowledge, current on latest design techniques
  • Experience with user research

 You’re a perfect fit if

  • You love solving problems rather than presenting deliverables.
  • You are a curious soul and question assumptions
  • You can communicate your design ideas and draw value out of the feedback
  • You enjoy collaborating with other teammates (and I am not just talking about designers here)
  • You want to talk to customers
  • You are comfortable working with short iteration cycles

In return, you can look forward to working with one of the coolest start-ups in the country with a dynamic and driven culture that fosters an environment of positive energy, inclusion, and results.
