We are currently looking for an experienced, self-driven, and curious ML Developer to join our passionate and innovative team. As part of a cross-disciplinary team, you will work your magic on large multifaceted and unstructured datasets to tackle a range of challenging problems using statistical and machine learning algorithms. You will have the freedom to provide meaningful insights and explain data models to our clients is appetizing.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Knowledge of the Python programming language is a must. Knowledge of R is an added bonus
  • Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistics and machine learning algorithms
  • Hands-on experience in solving business problems
  • Exposure to building deep learning models
  • Exposure to AWS
  • Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Data Scientist

Roles and responsibilities

  • Translate business problems to be tackled using data science/ machine learning questions
  • Manage the entire data and question creation pipeline for client projects
  • Using appropriate methods (data visualization, summary statistics, etc.) to communicate and explain the data models to clients
  • Using open data sets, create well-defined machine learning and deep learning problems.
  • Drive availability of relevant data, tools, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures
  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
  • You should be creative, enthusiastic, and take pride in the work that you produce. Above all, you should love to build and ship solutions that real people will use every day
